We’ll get to those two in just a second (and I’ll tell you how to get them for free), but first I just wanted to go over a few things that you should look for in any tooth whitening product that you consider.

Remember, teeth whiteners are certainly not all created equal. Some are better than others, and the really bad ones can even be dangerous and permanently damage your teeth.

So let’s talk about some of the things that you should consider…

The first thing I generally look for when evaluating a teeth whitening system is whether or not the product has a track record. Now I understand that of course there are going to be some brand-new products on the market that actually may be better than well-established brands.

But I’ll tell you what — I’d rather let other people play the guinea pig and experiment with something that’s new and unproven, and I’ll just stay with the products that have been around for awhile and that have already been shown to work.

I do think that this kind of thing definitely lends some credibility and should reassure you that at the very least what you’re getting is something that many other people like you have used with successful results.

The second very important factor that I look at is cost. Since you’re looking for teeth whiteners that you can use at home, I’m going to assume that you understand that having a professional whitening done by a dentist in his office can often costs close to, or even much more than, $1,000.

Also, when you consider that statistics say that most people aren’t satisfied with just one visit, and actually return to have the procedure done multiple times, you’re talking about an investment of thousands of dollars. So it makes enormous sense to choose a vastly more economical method, such as using one of the many quality at home teeth whiteners that are available.

What I like to see is a company that will go the extra mile and actually offer their entire kit for free so that you can test it out without having to make any kind of serious financial investment. I mean think about it — if a company truly believes in and stands by their product, they shouldn’t have a problem at all in letting you check it out at their risk.

It’s just my opinion, but if you encounter a company that is trying to sell you an expensive at home teeth whitening system, and they aren’t willing to let you try it out first for free, that alone would be enough for me to ditch that product and move on.
